I had a fulfilling career as a professional accountant, with my last post being the Vice President of Education for the CGA Association of Canada. When I retired in 2014, I was seeking God for what He would have me do in my retirement years.
I had the fantastic opportunity of filling in from time to time as the Accountant at Westside Church Vancouver, which is also my home Church. I love working with the young, talented, and committed individuals there as I help out and grow in the Lord. I am also the President of the Strata Council for my Condominium in Vancouver.
Most recently, I have had the incredible opportunity to volunteer in the Kigoma office for Hope of the Nations. I go for two to three months each time, and have, through the generous support of Westside Church, been able to return again…and again! I love being part of God’s work at Hope of the Nations!
I have two awesome daughters: Jesi (working for Participaction and at the same time finishing a graduate program in Design at Emily Carr University in Vancouver, BC); and Annie (Fitness Manager and Personal Trainer, for Steve Nash Fitness World at Arbutus and Broadway in Vancouver, BC). And now I’m a granny! God is so good!
