Teams come out to Tanzania every year for 2 to 4 weeks at a time to serve in the different ministry areas of Hope of the Nations. They usually consist of 6-8 people including leaders. We have also had family teams come out with dad, mom, kids, grandparents and they have been a blessing as well!
HofN has had many different age group teams with many different talents. They have included teaching teams, evangelism teams, VBS style teams, welders, mechanics, medical people, etc. We travel by boat, land cruiser, and even walk to get into remote areas with the Gospel. We ask each team who is considering coming to send us a list of the team’s skills so that we can make the best use of their gifts and talents in our different areas of ministry.
The main goal for teams is that they come along side of our national staff to support and encourage them in their ministry. It is such a blessing to our nationals to have teams from the west come and learn about their ministry and feel a connection to another part of the Body of Christ. It is great to have “eye witnesses” return home and continue to lift up the ministry in prayer.
While HofN usually does not ask for building teams, we do have a huge building project coming up with the construction of our new campus for HNBC. We NEVER want to take jobs from nationals. We do, however, want to bring them craftsmen who can teach specific skills like concrete finishing, electrical, plumbing, welding, etc.
We so appreciate the teams that have come over the years. Thank YOU! We are always in need of more teams that can come out and serve in all areas. If interested, please fill out the General Application and we will get back to you. Teachers for the HofN Bible College use the Teacher Application.
If you can not come out but would like to Partner With Us by praying and donating funds, this is also greatly appreciated.
