At Hope of the Nations, we believe every child has God-given potential waiting to be discovered. This photograph is living proof.
Twenty years ago, these six men were squirrely young children running into Kids Club. Some came because they were hungry. Some came out of curiosity. Some came simply because someone knew their name. None of us could have imagined that one day they would become leaders bringing hope to the next generation.
Today they lead worship, teach children, organize ministry, preach the Gospel, mentor students, host visiting mission teams (The Buddies), and invest their lives in the children growing up behind them. All five men have graduated from Hope of the Nations Bible College with hopes of planting a church. All five are on HOFN staff in some form.

When I look at this photograph, I don’t just see six ministry leaders.
I see six little boys I used to know.
Each one has a different story. Each one has faced different struggles. But each one discovered the same truth:
Jesus changes lives.
Meet the young men whose lives remind us why Hope of the Nations exists
Paris
Paris came looking for food. Today he leads worship and hosts visiting teams with a gentle heart ready to serve.
Giadi
Giadi grew up carrying responsibilities no child should carry. Today he ministers with Moses and organizes Kids Club ministry across the region.
Jeremiah
Jeremiah discovered the love of Jesus after growing up believing he had been forgotten. Today he is the on-campus Youth Pastor at HOFN Primary School, where children race toward him wherever he goes because they know they are loved.
Saidi
Saidi’s heart of gold was covered up with anger and hatred. Today he preaches grace and runs a successful business and loves helping in all areas of ministry.
Fadhili
Fadhili came planning to leave for the city. One summer serving children changed the direction of his life forever. He manages all of our visiting teams with integrity.
Because of faithful partners, these boys received an education, discipleship, mentoring, and the opportunity to discover the gifts God placed inside them. Today they are investing those same gifts in hundreds of children along the shores of Lake Tanganyika.
Your faithful donations have been a part of bringing hope to these young men and hundreds of children. Thank you.
